Reuters TVHillary Clinton takes the lead in the 2016 president returns with wins in Maryland and New Jersey. -
The New York Times Upshot says Trump has a 59 percent chance of winning the White House, significant since Upshot spent most of the season with an 80 to 90 percent probability of a Clinton victory.
Reuters/Ipsos gave Clinton 90 percent chance of victory early this morning. And FiveThirtyEight.com gives Clinton a 73 percent chance of winning. That's actually up 1 point from their final forecast last night. -

CNN says that Trump has a 7.5 point lead in Wisconsin and a 4.7-point lead in Michigan. These are two states that have been solid blue all season long. These are two Rust Belt states that have suffered as manufacturing jobs have evaporated. Trump has made both of these states part of his plan. In Michigan 29 percent of precincts have reported. In Wisconsin, 39 percent have reported.

Dow futures slide further, now down more than 700 points

The mood at the Clinton event at the Javits Center in NYC is low energy right now compared to earlier in the night. The campaign is working to keep the momentum going, including replaying its popular celebrity rendition of 'Fight Song' which debuted at the DNC. However, supporters were seen sitting down on the floor and the cheers have lulled.
"I wish it was a landslide," said Eileen Naples of Brooklyn. "But it's probably more projected drama than actual drama."
"It's tighter than expected," said Phil Recht, a lawyer from Los Angelos. "I'm confident - but it's going to be a long night." -
