Boris: "In an ideal world we might have recognised reality two years or three years ago. We might have bisected the euro zone to restore growth, with short term pain giving way to renewed competitiveness. The eurozone might have gone through its September 1992 moment –the prelude to British recovery from the ERM. I no longer see much hope of this happening. Politics has prevailed." -
